Concert Reviews:
"The crowd was in the palm of their hands as The Irish Rovers delivered flawless music that spanned two sets and featured songs recognizable to the die-hard fan, trademark Rovers hits and songs you can find on their latest album.. it became apparent by the varying age and demographics of the crowd that The Irish Rovers have had a significant impact on more than just their own generation of fans" Taron Cochrane, Global TV
"Like the famous Bushmills Irish Whiskey, The Irish Rovers continue to improve with age. The audiences demonstrates their popularity across all age groups. From the moment they stepped on stage at Centrepointe Theatre in Ottawa they had the audience in the palm of their very musical and talented hands. Mixing songs from their new CD with old favourites interspersed with humourous anecdotes and stories provided the perfect blend for an enjoyable evening." Gaelic Hour, CHIN 97.9
"Imperial Theatre had quite a few Christmas themed shows this year but none had greater response than THE IRISH ROVERS - the boys thrilled the audience with Holiday merriment and old fashioned entertainment ... great addition to our Mainstage lineup and a pleasure to present." Imperial Theatre Inc.
"The Irish Rovers charm with effortless musicality, uproarious wit and winsome ways. The six musicians elicited claps, hoots and cheers throughout both sets...Hatters wildly stamped their feet to supplement the drummer's driving beat. Singing "The Orange and The Green," the troupe of Rovers made light of Ireland's age-old religious conflict and in "The Dublin Pub Crawl," amazed the audience with vocal feats of pronunciation and speed." Medicine Hat News
"You won’t get any better entertainment value for your dollar than an Irish Rovers concert...the epitome of what it means to entertain an audience. Superb musicians, fine vocalists and masterful story tellers. You never want it to end. You just sit back and enjoy and wonder where the time went." Mark Campbell, Global TV
